Meditation

Jesus said to him, “Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have come to believe.”     John 20:29

Thomas doubted, the Pharisees tried testing Jesus and wanted to see miracles, we ask for signs. Just show us the answer and we will follow.

Jesus tells us to have more faith. Believe and be blessed.

Those that rely on only what they can see, miss so much. If they need proof, there will always be doubts. Every miracle from God will be cause for the it was just a coincidence debate. Blessings will be questioned and hardships will be a justification for turning away.

For those that do not want to believe, this faith seems ridiculous. For those who know God, no other reaction is possible. Believe and be blessed.

Do you truly trust in God’s love? Do you put your full faith in the hands of the creator? Do you know God will provide what you need? Do you trust in the promise of the almighty when things look most bleak?

Do not fear, for I am with you, do not be afraid, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you,  I will uphold you with my victorious right hand. (Isaiah 41:10)

There is blessedness for those who believe no matter what they can see. There is comfort in knowing God will always be there. There is strength in relying on the Lord.

While writing this morning, the new puppy needed to walk (repeatedly) and an electrician was in and working on a bad circuit. Concentration was more than difficult. Thank heavens the Spirit will intercede.

Believe and be blessed.
