Wednesday meditation

Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?”   
                                                                                                                                  John 11:40

This is one of the hardest concepts for us as Christians. The world says “I’ll believe it when I see it.” Jesus says, “You’ll see it when you believe.” 

How do we accept a God who is truly concerned for our individual lives, who offers life beyond the grave or even that Jesus was God who came as man to walk the earth? In one word – Faith. 

Faith can be hard to hold onto. The world tells us we are fools. People say they believe and then act horribly, circumstances test our spirit. But God always is ready for us to reach out. If you find yourself wavering, if you are facing crises, just pray. It can be as simple as “Lord, I believe, help my unbelief.” 

Jesus is clear: Believe and you will see God’s miracles.
