Midweek meditation and worship update

Thanks to Cynde Overholtzer for this week’s meditation:

I heard Bill Gaither commenting,” Yes we are all in the same storm, but in different boats”.

I know, like me, you can sit in the boat feeling like you are losing hope in this confinement of loneliness and uncertainty. Then I remember who controls the waves.

I seek his word….
Now may the God of hope fill you with joy and peace as you believe in Him so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit”. Romans 15

Hope is a promise from the creator of life. Yea!
“Blessed are those who trust in the Lord and made the Lord their hope and confidence. They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat, or worried by long months of drought. Their leaves stay green and never stop producing fruit” Jeremiah 17

All you trees stay strong! I am praying God will fill your boats with hope, peace and joy, that someday we will see the light on other side of the tunnel. What a testimony to share when next we gather. Looking forward to hearing your hope story. Love you.

Sunday Worship – Weather forecast for Sunday is questionable (heat, humidity, thunderstorms). An announcement will come Saturday with the decision to proceed with outside worship or not. If possible, drive in worship will be held in our cars in the church parking lot at 10am. You will hear the service at 103.1 on your car radio in the lot.
